BigSteelBox is a Canadian-owned and operated storage company that makes moving and storage feel better! We rent and sell portable storage containers in 8', 10', 20' and 40' for storage at your home or at one of their secure locations. BigSteelBoxes are actually shipping containers so they are weather and rodent-proof, and come equipped with a steel Lock Box to protect your padlock from bolt cutters.

Our service is extremely convenient because we bring the storage to you, so you only have to load and unload your items once. From our storage facility in Ayr, ON, we're able to provide portable storage unit rentals and sales to residential and business customers in Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, and several cities and towns in southwestern Ontario. Whether you need secure storage at home or on the job site, BigSteelBox can help.

Every aspect of arranging the bin was exactly as planned and promise. What a fantastic experience and such a great company to work with. Moving bin was dropped off, moved & picked up as scheduled. The logistics staff in BC were friendly to talk to on the phone and emails were responded to quickly. In today's world we have come to expect poor service as that is what most companies provide so this was a pleasant change. I highly recommend Big Steel Box.

Amazing to work with, very flexible and always willing to answer your questions. Drop off and pick up of the container was seamless - the driver was extremely courteous and kind. Will update after the container is dropped at the new location but so happy so far!!!

I've had some great experiences with the company, and some not so great, but the manager has reached out and found a solution that works for BOTH sides. After getting quotes from 2 other similar companies, it was obvious immediately that Big Steel Box was more organized, professional and friendly. I chose them and was very impressed with every part of the process. The office staff was professional and accommodating when I needed to adjust my dates. The box was delivered by a very skilled driver who worked very carefully to put my box exactly where I wanted it and it was a tight squeeze because I have a shared driveway. The box was clean and very secure. I got “heads up” calls when delivery or pickup was in a half an hour, which was helpful. Every part of the experience with Big Steel Box was excellent. I would highly recommend them.
